"RUSNANO" asked the state 100 billion rubles


News Newsland: State Corporation "Rusnano" asked for 100 billion rubles from the National Welfare Fund for innovative projects in the field of high technologies, including nanotechnology. RBC reports. Transaction is proposed to issue through the purchase in 2014 by private subscription of its own bonds for the full amount.

In state corporations believe that the need to finance projects to create the Development Fund of the Russian nanotechnology industry (FRRN) making it one company funds will be there and will be spent when the supervisory board "Rusnano" decide to co-finance innovative projects. Prior to the adoption of such investment decisions are encouraged to keep the money in government bonds.


Request was made in August, to date, according to the publication, "the discussion of this issue is ongoing." For these injections need to change the existing rules of investing SWFs.
In recent months, several leading corporations in Russia appealed to the National Welfare Fund to finance their projects. This happened after November 2013, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to allocate about 40 percent of the companies the fund for the development of various sectors of the economy. Later, the quota was increased to 50 percent.
Among the contenders for the fund are Railways, "Rosneft", "Novatek", "Rosatom" and several others. Total on the long list of co-financing from the NWF is about 30 projects.
