Growing tariffs of housing ... growing!

Throughout Russia, housing and communal services tariffs are rising

In the future, experts predict, the growth of tariffs for housing and communal services will continue

Since July 1, 2016, utility tariffs have increased by an average of 4%. This affected almost all types of housing and communal services. The most significant increase in the price of electricity - by 11-15%, for heat, Russians pay 8.1% more than before, for cold water - by 7%, and the fee for hot water rose by 7.8%. The minimum increase in tariffs affected gas supply - it went up by 2%.

In this case, the regions themselves have the right to set tariffs, but within certain limits. For example, Moscow (7.5%) and St. Petersburg (6.5%) experienced the greatest increase, while the Caucasus and the Altai Territory pay only 3-4% more.

Andrei Chibis, deputy minister of construction and housing and communal services, adds: 'This depends on many circumstances - for example, the availability of a resource.' In a number of regions, the increase in prices is economically justified by historically low tariffs, otherwise tariffs, on the contrary, will not rise, as in previous years Investment, and there is no need to increase the fee. '
In the future, experts predict, the growth of tariffs for housing and communal services will continue. According to the forecasts of AKON (Association of Companies Serving Real Estate), in 2019 we will pay 3000 rubles per person per month for utilities. Given that in 2014 this amount was about 2000 rubles.
In this situation, military housing and communal services stands apart. Average tariffs in 2016 amount to 17.68 rubles, which corresponds to the level of payment in the houses of state and municipal housing funds in 2012. 'Due to the fact that tariffs in many regions are underestimated, it is impossible to provide quality services ... Low tariffs do not allow carrying out any investment projects and keep enterprises in a normal state,' comments the executive director of Housing and Communal Services, Svetlana Razvorotneva.
Obviously, military towns and villages also expect a forced increase in tariffs in the foreseeable future. But at least in this case, it will be justified by improving the quality of services provided and reducing the number of municipal accidents.

Benefits from the market planning approaches of the government

The conflict between business and government turned into a discussion of marginal tariffs for services of natural monopolies at yesterday's government meeting. If last year the main brawler was Gazprom, which did not agree with cutting its appetites, then yesterday it was successfully replaced by the chairman of the board of RAO UES Anatoly Chubais. For the seed, he promised Mikhail Fradkov to double GDP by investing in energy, and then announced to German Gref that his economic policy was nothing but medieval chiromancy.
That's really who does not have any palmistry, and pure monetary interest, so it's Mr. Chubais. And thanks to his active work, for more than fifteen years we have been told that in Russia a market economy is being built, somehow awkwardly and with difficulty, but the main parameters of a three-year economic forecast presented at the meeting of the government, which states that in 2006 tariffs For electricity will grow by 7.5%, tariffs for rail. Transportation by 8%, gas by 11%, in 2007 for electricity by 6.5%, by rail. Transportation by 7%, gas by 8%, in 2008 for electricity by 5.5%, by rail. Transportation by 5.5%, gas by -7%, yes, plus inflation from 4 to 8%, speak about something else.
The question arises: where is the market relationship, for the development of which the current leaders so strongly advocate? What is the development of the Ministry of Economic Development, laying such an increase in tariffs? And for Chubais this is not enough. Maybe they know in advance that it is precisely in this proportion that the costs of enterprises producing and supplying electricity and gas, as well as railroads, will increase? Of course not. But for the entire economy of the country and for citizens, this increase in tariffs will actually result in higher production costs, higher prices for all goods and services, and, accordingly, slowing down the pace of development, rising unemployment and lowering living standards.
The government is engaged in the purest water of demagogy, behind which there are frank plans for further deterioration of the people's life. And for citizens, tariffs are planned to be increased at a faster pace than enterprises ... People just hang noodles on their ears. Like, it will be a great blessing for him if the tariffs in 2009 grow by 6 percent, and not by 8, as in 2007. The fact that these 6 percent in 2009 in rubles will be more than 8 percent in 2007 , Nobody is going to explain to the people. And Prime Minister Fradkov, such a verbal balancing act, seems to be quite comfortable.
The situation is strange when ministers at a government meeting declare that the growth rate of domestic production is falling, seemingly worried about our economy, and there and then, instead of proposing measures to overcome the current situation, it is suggested to strangle the domestic producer even more by increasing the tariffs for Electricity, gas, railroad
